On 20 October 2010 in Nysa, students of the University of the Third Age participated in a meeting with Ms Małgorzata Proszkowiec. The meeting was organised by the Babie Lato Association and ASAas part of the health protection and disability prevention programme. The project is co-financed by the Office of the Marshal of the Opolskie Province.
At the Economic University in Kraków the university of the third age inaugurated its activity. On 13 October 2010 there was a first lecture delivered by Ms Elżbieta Banasiak, solicitor. It turned out to be very popular and was attended by 150 students of the third age university.
The SPIN Foundation established in Opole supports the development of dancing skills of gifted children and youth.
The "positively spinned foundation”, as the members say about it, organizes various cultural events such as workshops, festivals and dance shows promoting young talented dancers, who become a pride and ambassadors of the city of Opole and of the Opolskie Province.
Quoting the words of a famous scientist, Maria Rabiej started her lecture during the press conference held on 30 September 2010 in Warsaw. The meeting's objective was to sum up the third International Conference "The optimal child birth - the challenges of modern obstetrics".
