How to become familiar with intimacy in the media? How to talk about the intimate health in such a way as to provide women with reliable information coming from reliable sources and make them certain that the media are on their side?
The role that the media should play in supporting femininity in all its forms was discussed by Agata Młynarska and her guests during the workshop for journalists entitled She Intimately. The meeting inaugurated a series of workshops for women dedicated to intimate health.
ASA, the manufacturer of LaciBios femina, the first oral gynaecological probiotic on the Polish market, and Agata Młynarska's portal onaonaona.com., were the organisers of the workshop.
In the stylish interior of the Amber Room restaurant in Warsaw, well-known and popular stars, like MagdalenaSchejbal, Beata Tadla and Paulina Sykut, shared their experiences.
"Women's intimate health is still a taboo topic in the media, and it appears in news bulletins mainly as sensational information," said journalist Beata Tadla.
"Regular appointments with gynaecologists and basic examinations such as cytology should have a permanent place in every woman's diary," persuaded Magdalena Schejbal. Paulina Sykut stressed that a conversation with a woman's partner concerning intimate health is an obvious matter for modern couples and that under no circumstance should it be anything embarrassing.
Inaugurating the series of workshops for women She Intimately, our company aims at overcoming the taboo, which problems with intimate health still seem to be.
The workshop programme included a lecture given by Dr. Jacek Tomaszewski - "All you should know about your intimate health"; Joanna and Dariusz Brzeziński, dieticians and fitness coaches, told us how to lose weight in a pleasant and effective way in order to enjoy complete femininity and good health.
The workshop enjoyed great popularity among the invited journalists, that is, people who have a direct influence on the formation of women's knowledge and proper pro-health attitudes. Our company, a recognised and highly regarded manufacturer of dietary supplements and employer, has been cooperating with the opinion-forming periodicals for many years, and thus, together with journalists, it has been forming women's active attitude to their intimate health and prophylaxis.
