Our victory in the 11th edition of the ranking confirms the high competitive position held by ASA for over 11 years among Polish companies. This year, more than 4 thousand companies participated in the "Business Gazelle" competition. ASA's victory is the consequence of a steady increase in the Company's turnover during the three consecutive years of business activities (expressed in percentages) and its splendid reputation among contractors and customers.
What does a modern medium-sized company like ASA have in common with the Gazelle?
According to "Puls Biznesu", a business gazelle is a medium-sized business which performs very well among even much bigger competitors, and when threatened by them, it simply runs ahead.
The honourable title of the Business Gazelle 2010 was awarded to ASA because it is a company which:
• started its business activities before 2007 and has been conducting them without interruptions
• in the base year 2007 its sales revenue was between PLN 3 and 200 million
• in the years 2007-2009 ASA recorded an increase in sales revenue every year
• in the years 2007-2009 ASA did not have any losses
• it has allowed access to its financial results at least since 2007 (by publishing them in Monitor Polski B or providing data to Coface Poland, or making them available on request by filling in an application form).1
This special distinction awarded to the most dynamic Polish medium-sized companies characterized by their flawless reputation and fairness to their shareholders is a confirmation of the correctness of the company's development direction. A steady increase in sales revenue proves that we have managed well even in the present economic crisis.
The award and title are a recognition of ASA's many years of business activities. Due to its dynamic growth, ASA can win even with much bigger competitors. During the three consecutive years the company did not have any losses and, moreover, it achieved a considerable sales revenue increase every year. Besides, it has a flawless reputation among its contractors as an exceptionally fair company.
