It has become a tradition for our Company to participate in the annual Częstochowa Race organized by the Association of the Active People's Club ZABIEGANI in Częstochowa. This year's edition was the fifth jubilee edition under the patronage of Artresan Active.
And although the winter had hampered the runners for a long time, on that Saturday afternoon (13 April) the race participants in Częstochowa presented true sprinter's speed, while competing along the picturesque yet quite difficult 10-kilometre route around Jasna Góra. Among the participants there were also runners from ASA Team Running for Health.
The weather was in the runners' favour, and supporters all along the route constantly cheered on the runners, both in the spring drizzle and in full sunshine. The race participants came from all over Poland and from abroad.
The fastest runner on this demanding route was a representative of Kenya, Samuel Kemboi Rutto with a time of 30.12 seconds. Radosław Kłeczek from our ASA Team Running for Health was second, just behind the winner. Joe Kosgei Komen from Kenya was third. In the women's category, the winner was Susy CHEMAIMAK Chebeit from Kenya with a time of 35.13 seconds, which is a new record. Dominika Wiśniewska - Ulfik was second, Ewa Brych-Pająk from Częstochowa - third, and Barbara Sobczyk representing ASA Team Running for Health - fourth.
In the age category K40, Janina Malska from Kraków, also our representative, was first. All runners from our Team were supported by Artresan Active, a preparation made especially for active people. This year our preparation, Artresan Active 120 capsules was given to all participants of the Fifth Częstochowa Race.
The Builders and Architects Championships of Poland was also part of the Fifth Częstochowa Race; the winners were Zbigniew Kalinowski from Police and Barbara Sobczyk, mentioned previously.
As many as 940 participants completed the race, which is an attendance record in this race enjoying more and more popularity every year.
Together with the organizers we would like to thank the participants for making a wonderful show and for a unique atmosphere. We would also like to thank the supporters who enthusiastically cheered on the runners.
