The Warsaw Marathon Cup is a well known and popular recreational sports event in Poland.
The competition for the Cup lasts from April to September, when the culminating event will take place, i.e. the Warsaw Marathon itself. The main objective of the competition between Polish and foreign participants of the cycle of semi-marathons and races is the preparation for the final September event - the 34th Warsaw Marathon.
The fourth race in the cycle of competitions for the Warsaw Marathon Cup was held on 4 August 2012 in Międzylesie. Its participants had to run a distance of 20 km.
The formula of the competition was the same as in the previous 5, 10, and 15 km races, that is the entire cycle is classified exclusively in age categories, and participant are awarded points for particular places. After each race there is a traditional prize drawing, in which all runners participate.
Our company was also present in Międzylesie; with its innovative preparation – Artresan Active – the Partner of the Warsaw Marathon – ASA has rooted for and supported the participants since the first race held in Kępa Potocka on 21 April 2012.
Out of concern for the physical condition and wellbeing of the runners, we invited all of them to our company's stand, where they could get familiar with our preparations and receive samples of Artresan Active and Novocardia as well as information leaflets explaining how to take good care of one's health, and in particular, of the joints and heart.
Both before and after the race they could also have their blood pressure measured and receive a special notebook for recording the results of blood pressure measurements, as well as take a rest, chat with us or drink some water.
We would like to congratulate the 393 people who managed to finish the race in Międzylesie and to invite everybody to another one, this time at a distance of 25 km. The date: 1 September 2012; the place: Jan III Sobieski Forest in Wawer.
It is going to be the last test before the final race, i.e. the Warsaw Marathon, which will be held on 30 September 2012.
