At the Economic University in Kraków the university of the third age inaugurated its activity. On 13 October 2010 there was a first lecture delivered by Ms Elżbieta Banasiak, solicitor. It turned out to be very popular and was attended by 150 students of the third age university.
The student listened to the lecture in a nice “Old Auditory Room”, enjoying coffee and cake,. The lecture dealt with the legal issues concerning the old age citizens. During the lecture the lawyer answered numerous questions, provided examples of troublesome situations and certain solutions to selected legal problems. The students who attended the lecture received some legal advice books authored by Ms Banasiak (e.g. “Law in Everyday Life”, “Family Law Handbook”). Ms Banasiak also encouraged the students to send her some more letters through the magazine called “Jestem w formie” [I am in good form].
The meeting participants thanked the lawyer for translating the difficult language of law into the language of common people.
At the end of the meeting each person who attended the lecture received a gift from the main sponsor of the event, namely a package of pro-health ASA preparations.
