On 12th October 2010 Głubczyce was the venue of a meeting organized by The European Association of Active Women - "ESKA". Seventy women participated in the event.
The "ESKA" Association was established in 2004 and ever since it has been effectively pursuing its objective, which is the popularization of an active professional and personal attitude among modern women. Since the beginning of its activity the Association has also organized educational meetings dedicated to the promotion of pro-health attitudes, prophylaxis and women's health protection.
The motto of the latest meeting was "Take care of your heart – fight against stress"; it focused on cardiovascular diseases. The event was conducted and moderated by Jolanta Kiżys, M.D. Maria Zielińska, a psychologist, underlined the destructive influence of a stressful lifestyle on the vascular system and psyche.
ASA also contributed to the meeting of The European Association of Active Women - "ESKA" presenting information concerning cardiovascular diseases prevention and dietary prophylaxis.
The meeting ended with a cabaret performance of the TRADITION theatre of the Group of Mechanical Schools in Głubczyce and a song recital by Maria Farasiewicz.
