The Women's Day is a unique day celebrated on 8 March as a symbol of respect for all women. On this occasion, the Conscious Mother portal together with its partner, LaciBios femina, decided to organize an additional meeting in Warsaw.
On this special day we met in a rather unusual place, that is in … MULITKINO where numerous surprises awaited all participants. All women were greeted with a flower and a set of LaciBios femina products funded by our Company, and many more attractions followed. The host of the meeting was a conscious mother and actress, Paulina Holtz.
The event started with a workshop in which all mothers and mothers-to-be could listen to specialist counseling concerning various aspects of femininity, pregnancy and maternity. The invited experts shared their knowledge of health care and disease prevention regarding both mothers and their children.
In the first lecture, intimate health problems were discussed. The participants could learn more about the oral gynaecological probiotic LaciBios femina and effective prevention against infections of the intimate parts. Taking care of the beauty and wellbeing of mothers was the topic of a lecture presented by Edyta Filipowicz, a reflexologist, coach and physiotherapist employed in the beauty parlour of the YONELLE Zwolińska Beauty Institute.
A representative of the Warszawianka Fitness Park encouraged women to spend the nine months of pregnancy actively and to stay in good shape after pregnancy. He instructed women how to take good care of themselves and what type of exercises were the best in the particular trimesters of pregnancy. His short lecture was illustrated with a presentation of exercises for pregnant women.
Further on, the participants could take advantage of the experts' advice concerning, e.g. the selection of appropriate products for baby skin care (CutisHelpmim), and discuss the proper nourishing of a baby and the selection of baby milk. Aleksandra Żyła, a dietician, wanted to convince the mothers of the great importance of a healthy start, since "conscious and healthy mothers mean healthy children".
After the workshop more attractions awaited the participants. They had the opportunity to take photographs of their bellies and babies during a mini-session organized by the FOTO Ursus photo studio.
At ASA's stand, the women could learn more about our preparations. Our attention was focused on LaciBios femina, an oral gynaecological probiotic, and intimate care cleansing gels for women.
The mothers could also learn which products were the best for their babies, receive product samples, and take advantage of advice and massages offered by a specialist from YONELLE Zwolińska Beauty Institute. At the OsmozaCare stand, they could try antibacterial products and use the service of a cosmetician from the Medica Spa Health and Beauty Institute. Those interested could receive a professional manicure.
The Baby Clinic Medical Centre offered consultations with Dr. Małgorzata Gołkowska, a paediatrician, and the mothers could also have their blood pressure tested.
Izabela Banach- Kubik, a propagator of eco-parenthood, an instructor of the Shantala massage and the ClauWi carrying techniques, organized a babywearing workshop (carrying a baby in a sling) and instructed the participants in proper baby massage techniques.
Alles, a company specializing in designing ideal underwear for mothers-to-be and young mothers, organized consultations with a bra fitter. Every mom received a little gift, too.
In order to allow all women to be able to take advantage of all attractions, their children could stay in the toddler's corner, where animators from the Toddler's Club in Studio Romera 10 were waiting for them with numerous attractions.
At the end of the meeting the women could take part in a lottery with fabulous prizes.
